Friends are like bras…close to our hearts and there for support!
Our dearest friends far and wide,
If you were able to attend the Women of Influence event on April 16th at the Residence Inn in West Orange, NJ, not only did you get to hear powerful stories of hope, faith, and redemption, but you also got word of the exciting charity drive we will be hosting at our next Women of Influence event on July 16, 2015.

For those of you were unable to attend (like me), I wanted to be sure to get the details out to you and recap all the specifics of this wonderful cause.
I hope this information will inspire you to “get your spring cleaning on” as you sift through your dresser drawers and collect gently used bras in an effort to fight modern-day slavery.
WHY BRAS?
Secondhand clothing is a profitable market in many countries around the world. Bras are sought-after items. By partnering with established after-care facilities, FREE THE GIRLS provides an opportunity for sex trafficking survivors to build their own business selling secondhand clothing while going to school, establishing a home, and caring for their families. Selling clothes allows them to work as much or as little as their school schedule permits. The women in the program receive their starting inventory as a donation, and are then able to buy additional inventory from FREE THE GIRLS for below wholesale value to help maintain their competitive edge in the marketplace. Over 500,000 bras have been donated to date!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Gather up both new or gently used bras of all sizes and styles, including sports bras, nursing bras, and camisoles. Don’t forget to share this information with your girlfriends, church groups, mom groups, or colleagues. Also, consider becoming a designated leader to gather bras in your circles of influence and help us make this a successful charity drive!
BRA DRIVE AND COLLECTION
Circles of Faith will be hosting the Bra Drive and Drop-Off during our next Women of Influence event on Thursday, Juy 16th at the Residence Inn, 107 Prospect Avenue, West Orange, NJ.
Be on the lookout for the event registration link and remember to bring your donation(s) the evening of the event. We will handle the rest!
