Episode 024 Celebrating Advent

Advent is a period of spiritual preparation for the coming of Jesus Christ at Christmas. Advent begins on the fourth Sunday prior to Christmas Day and lasts through Christmas Eve, or December 24. It’s a great way to keep Christ at the center of the season. There are so many different variations and interpretations of Advent customs that exist today.  My co-hosts and I are here to share the ways we have celebrated advent in the past and things we would like to try in the future.

Mentioned in the Show:

  • She Reads Truth Advent study - Beginning Sunday, 11/27, we’ll spend the Advent season exploring the Old Testament roles of prophet, priest and king, and the ways in which Christ came to perfectly fill each of them, as well as a week in Luke’s beloved narrative of Christ’s birth.
